Photos & Playlist: epic45, July Skies & Avrocar, 29 April

Last week’s event featured a dream line-up for us – epic45 and July Skies played the first live Colour show nearly four years ago and we’ve wanted to put on Avrocar for a long time, since hearing the retro-future soundscapes of the incredible Against The Dying Of The Light. All three bands are frequent collaborators, which gave a unique feel to the evening and the evocative, immersive sonic landscapes that enveloped The Victoria.

epic45’s back catalogue was released on iTunes on Monday, offering a chance to hear several albums and EPs that have been out of print for years.

Thanks once again to Richard Short for capturing the performances so perfectly.
