December Events Guide

The listings are a little late this month, which means you may of missed out on Public Enemy at The Custard Factory or Curate’s Egg Present Damo Suzuki at The Hare & Hounds, Birmingham. December is a bit quiet for gigs but hopefully list should tempt you out of your slippers to see some live music over the festive season.

Colour favourites, Lime Chalks join Bohemian JukeBox at this beautiful old Victorian pub in Kings Heath, its worth the bus journey!

Thursday 11th

Colour Presents: The Americana Sessions
Alchemy, North Street, Wolverhampton
Colour will evoke the spirit of American musical tradition with performances by James Happenick, Jayne Powell and Dan Hartland, projections of original slides depicting everyday life in America in the 1950s and 1960s, and the usual home made cakes.

Saturday 13th

The Autumn Store Christmas Party
The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
The Autumn Store celebrate another year of great events with their 3rd Christmas Party with Help Stamp Out Loneliness, The Empty Set and Meg. Starts at 830.pm.

Monday 15th

The Hold Steady
Wolverhampton Civic Halls, Wolverhampton
This is a rescheduled date and now lead guitarist Tad Kubler has recovered from pancreatitis the UK and Australian tour can go ahead. We are much looking forward to letting our classic rock side show and getting hot & sweaty at this!

Thursday 18th

Christmas at Alchemy – Live Music & Comedy
Alchemy, North St, Wolverhampton
A night of live music and comedy from local West Midlands talent in aid of Compton Hospice.Tickets are £2 – Advance ticket holders will get a free glass of mulled wine on entry, and there will be mince pies for all! Everyone will be entered into a prize draw to win a bottle of champagne and lunch for two people at Alchemy.
